Children Policy
All children must be accompanied by an adult. We do not allow children to have their own rooms we allow travel cots in family rooms only unless otherwise discussed.

Pets
We are unable to accept any type of dogs or any other pets/animals within the property.

Booking Terms

Booking deposits must be paid for using an acceptable and valid credit or debit card.
For online and telephone bookings, a non-refundable deposit of 50% (fifty percent) of the total value of the rooms booked will be charged or one nights depending on the greater amount to the card number supplied to us via our secure online booking system, at the time of booking.

These Booking Terms apply to Ayah Villa Guest House, our officers, employees and agents (We/Us/Our) and the person or legal entity making the Booking or to whom We supply services in respect of the Booking (You/Your). These Booking Terms are governed by English law and apply to all Bookings except where we agree in writing other terms. By making a Booking You are deemed to accept these Booking Terms.

Bookings

Bookings are made and a contract between You and Us comes into effect when We accept a reservation from You. We will accept a reservation when We have confirmed Your reservation either in writing by letter or by email and have received a non-refundable 50% deposit or if otherwise agreed, full payment of the total price quoted. Where a non-refundable deposit is paid, the balance will be paid by You to Us on check-in, please be aware that a 3% bank handling charge is applied to all credit card transactions for final balance payments.

You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18yrs to make a Booking.

Prices

Rates are per room per night inclusive of breakfast, for the number of people agreed on the confirmation. Rates do not include other costs you may choose to incur during Your stay (unless otherwise stated).
Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should You change the number of guests, dates or room nights, then the rates are subject to change.

Availability.

In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver Your requested rooms, You will be offered a full refund. We will not pay any extra towards alternative accommodation.

Arrival and departure

Check-in times are between 14:00 hrs & 20:00 hrs, check-in times outside of those specified must be agreed with Us prior to arrival. The Check-out time is by 10:00 hrs.

Key
Failure to return room key after check will result in a £75.00 fine.

Cancellations

Any booking Deposit, equivalent to 50% of the full amount of Your Booking, will be forfeit if You cancel Your Booking.
Any cancellations received within 48 hours of the scheduled date of arrival as printed on your booking confirmation, and then a charge equivalent to the cost of the full booking amount for all rooms booked will be levied. Where the booking is for one night then the total balance owing for that night will be charged less any deposit already paid.
If You need to cancel Your Booking more than 48 hours before the arrival date then the deposit paid will be forfeit.
We would recommend that guests purchase suitable holiday / cancellation insurance to cover for this eventuality.

Amendments.

To amend or Cancel Your Booking, please email us directly using the email contained within our website if you have booked via a third party you will have to also contact them. If you amend Your Booking within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time on the date of arrival, and as a result You cancel any room night with less than 48 hours notice a charge equivalent to the cost of one night's accommodation will be levied.

Conditions.

We have some standard rules that are designed to ensure that we comply with regulations relating to matters such as fire, health and safety, and to enhance the comfort and wellbeing of our guests. If you would like to check our conditions of stay please contact us.
We reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where You engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests. It is unacceptable to consume alcohol on these premises or to be visibly drunk as a result you will be removed from the premises

Liability

Our total liability to You is limited to the price of the Booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will We be responsible for any indirect or special damages.
We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond Our reasonable control. You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to Us or our property by Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and to pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss. Maximum liability for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or misrepresentation will be limited once again to the price of your booking.

Non-Smoking policy

We operate a strict non-smoking policy throughout our establishment and request that all guests respect our wishes. As a condition of booking, if it is found that a guest has been smoking within any room then a charge of £150 (one hundred pounds sterling) will be levied to the credit or debit card used in the initial booking, this charge will be used to cover cleaning costs & any loss of income should the room not be able to be re-sold immediately after departure, You must accept these terms.

Group Bookings.

We reserve the right to refuse any 'same sex' group bookings, where it is found to be for 'stag' or 'hen' nights.

Data protection

We may process the information You provide to Us for the purposes notified by Us to the Information Commissioner. By making a Booking, You consent to this processing of information.
These terms are automatically accepted once a booking has been made and a guest has arrived.
